NARRATIVE 

USF Sarasota-Manatee’s organizational chart, published on its website and in the Faculty & Staff Handbook, demonstrates a clearly defined organizational structure that delineates responsibility for the administration of policies. USF Sarasota-Manatee has a chief executive officer, a chief academic and student affairs officer, a chief financial officer, and a chief advancement officer.

Chief Executive Officer

The Regional Chancellor is the Chief Executive Officer, as specified by Florida Statutes and described in detail in Core Requirement 2.3 (Chief Executive Officer).  Direct reports to the Regional Chancellor comprise the Senior Leadership at USF Sarasota-Manatee and include the following positions and their policy administration responsibilities (Office of the Regional Chancellor Organizational Chart):

3 Regional Vice Chancellors: Academic & Student Affairs, Business & Financial Affairs, Advancement
2 Assistant Vice Presidents: External & Governmental Affairs, Institutional Research & Effectiveness

Chief Academic Officer

The Regional Vice Chancellor for Academic & Student Affairs is the Chief Academic Officer and the Chief Student Affairs Officer reports to him. Reporting directly to the Regional Vice Chancellor are the following positions listed with their policy administration responsibilities (Academic & Student Affairs Organizational Chart):

Chief Financial Officer

The Regional Vice Chancellor for Business & Financial Affairs is the Chief Financial Officer over fiscal, human resources, purchasing, security, parking, postal, and copy services. Personnel in Business & Financial Affairs also have dotted-line authority over the Police Services Contract with New College and the Campus Bookstore Manager. The Regional Vice Chancellor’s direct reports include the following listed with their policy administration responsibilities (Business & Financial Affairs Organizational Chart):

Chief Advancement Officer
